The Tata Photon Wi-Fi Pocket Router enables multiple users and devices to share wireless Internet access and stay connected on the go. It offers broadband Internet access speeds up to 3.1 Mbps (downlink) and 1.8 Mbps (uplink).
Currently, Tata Photon Wi-Fi Pocket Router will be available in four cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Tata Photon Wi-Fi Pocket Router is priced at Rs. 6,500 in the open market. But the device is being made available at an introductory price of Rs. 4999.
Tata Photon Wi-Fi Pocket Router has an in-built battery for 2.5 hours of seamless operation and sports a RJ45 Ethernet port for local area network (LAN) support. The feature allows us to plug the device into our laptop or desktop and get connected instantly.
